Mary Bassett speaks about the structural inequality in healthcare, because of racial differences and practices of other forms of social inequality, that has led to the growing rise of discrepancies in treatment and opportunities for access to healthcare. It is important that doctors do not add to the existing seclusion and structural violence, because it is affecting some section of the society based on the political and economic inequalities towards them leading to rising in illness and deaths. She asks doctors to raise the alarm to make public health a more transparent process, where people of all class, sex, all ages, and all races, have opportunities for healthcare and can afford the medicines or life-saving drugs or the vaccines or even the awareness for better life and health.
